Land and local priorities
Discuss permitted uses, access and existing buildings with landowners and planning teams. Identify the studies and consultations a specific site would require.
We develop opportunities for AI data centres and design the power, cooling and storage infrastructure they need. We work with site developers, compute operators, equipment buyers and investment partners.
Work with AUREVI ↗
Our first priority is to establish whether a location can support an AI data centre and whether it fits local industrial plans.
Proximity to a Gotion factory gives us a starting point for the search. For each potential site, we would need to establish land use, grid availability, fibre connectivity and options for cooling before proposing a layout or capacity.
We welcome proposals from developers with sites approaching ready-to-build (RTB) status. For each opportunity, we review evidence of land control, grid rights, planning status and the outstanding steps to construction.
For operators and asset owners, our development work translates a site opportunity into a technical and commercial brief. We organise it around four decisions.
Discuss permitted uses, access and existing buildings with landowners and planning teams. Identify the studies and consultations a specific site would require.
Establish what power could be available, on what terms and when. Check fibre routes and distinguish total site demand from the power available for IT equipment.
Compare cooling options against climate and water availability. Assess noise, potential uses for recovered heat and opportunities for local engineering and maintenance firms.
Use operator requirements and verified site conditions to scope an initial phase. Identify costs, responsibilities and outstanding permissions before committing capital.
We are developing a modular equipment approach with Gotion. Three engineering questions shape the work.
How should power reach the racks?
A Power POD brings electrical distribution equipment into a prefabricated module. Its design depends on the connection voltage, IT load and continuity requirements of the operator.
Where will the heat go?
The work spans liquid cooling, heat rejection and potential heat recovery. A usable outlet for recovered heat must be assessed locally alongside water and energy demand.
What should the battery do?
Battery sizing starts with a defined duty, such as managing peak demand or supporting continuity for a specified period. We would assess that duty alongside grid and backup arrangements.
Gold lines show electrical connections. Dashed lines follow heat from the racks to outdoor cooling equipment. Illustrative configuration.
Our engineering concept groups equipment into five modules for compute, power, cooling, network and storage, and auxiliary services. Outdoor infrastructure includes the substation, transformers, heat rejection equipment, and batteries or standby generation. The mix would depend on the site and tenant.
AUREVI and Gotion are strategic partners in AI data centre equipment. They also explore selected AI data centre development opportunities together.
We already work with investment partners. We also welcome new investors whose mandate fits a particular project or stage of development.
AUREVI coordinates the development brief and conversations with site partners, prospective operators and investors. Their requirements inform the capacity, equipment specification and phasing we would propose.
With Gotion, our technical cooperation covers equipment design, system integration and manufacturing considerations. Our team brings experience in UK battery storage projects and in thermal engineering, including liquid cooling and heat recovery.
Choose the opportunity you would like to discuss. Each route includes a short brief you can prepare for a first conversation.
